The Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1925 with only 19 members and 1 chemical truck.  Today, we have grown into a full service Fire/EMS Department with an active membership of about 50 men and women.

Kennedy is located in the Town Of Poland, Chautauqua County, New York. We are a small rural department serving approximately 2500 residents and covering about 36 square miles.   We operate out of 1 station and have 2 pumpers, 1 mini-pumper, 1 NYS Certified Ambulance, and a 16 foot Rescue Boat.

If you have any questions about this site, or the department in general, please e-mail us using the links on the Contact page, or sign the guestbook.  Also, I am always open to comments and suggestions on how to make this site better. Thanks again for stopping by!
